Aditi Shah is a yoga teacher based in New York City who has been learning and practicing yoga from a young age. Her love of movement led her to deepen her connection to yoga while she spent 5 years abroad in India. Aditi has many hours of teacher training in both India & the US, and an understanding of yoga nurtured by her heritage. She continues her studies here under the guidance of Eddie Stern and Lindsay Hilscher.
She has also studied mindfulness meditation at length and is currently studying under the guidance of Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield.
She is grateful to have been able to lead class for over 2000 yogis in Times Square, for Good Morning America's "Tone in 20," to contribute to Well + Good's "Sweat Series," and to have been named one of NYC's Best Teachers by Classpass.
Aditi teaches public and live broadcast classes for Peloton. She is also a co-creator of Mindful Morning, a pop-up meditation event in NYC, and a supporter of Exhale to Inhale. Along with her classes, she is a host and content creator in the wellness space. As well, she’s excited to be a speaker and advocate for meditation and mindfulness, as well as a contributor to Best Self Media, mindbodygreen, Well+Good, Parsley Health, Aloha and more.
As a yogi and teacher, Aditi values discipline, creativity, self-discovery, and alignment. Outside of the asana practice, she is deeply interested in understanding the history of yoga and its cultural context in our modern world.
